1. The nature of our content
Hunters Countryside presents editorially selected farm shops, garden centres, country pubs, countryside walks and other rural places across Britain. Everything on the website is published for general information and inspiration. It is not advice of any kind, and it is not a substitute for your own judgement or enquiries.
2. Venue information
We take care in researching and presenting the places we feature. Even so, details such as opening hours, menus, prices, facilities, accessibility and seasonal availability are set by the venues themselves and can change at any time without our knowledge. We do not warrant that any listing is complete, current or error-free. Before making a journey — particularly a long one — please confirm the essentials directly with the venue.
3. No endorsement or affiliation
Featuring a venue reflects our editorial selection; it is not an endorsement, certification or guarantee of that venue, its products or its services. We do not operate any venue shown on the website, and we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, offerings or standards of any venue or other third party. Any arrangement you make with a venue is between you and that venue.
4. Food, drink and allergens
Descriptions of food and drink — at farm shops, tearooms, country pubs or elsewhere — are illustrative only. If you have an allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement, always check directly with the venue before ordering or purchasing. Allergen and ingredient information can only be confirmed by the business preparing or selling the product.
5. Countryside walks and outdoor activities
Walks and outdoor places are featured as inspiration, not as route guidance. Conditions in the countryside change with weather and season: paths may be closed, diverted, flooded or otherwise unsuitable on the day. You are responsible for your own safety and for assessing whether an activity is within your ability. Please plan appropriately, wear suitable footwear and clothing, check access rights and local notices, and follow the Countryside Code. You undertake outdoor activities at your own risk.
6. External links
The website may link to third-party websites, including venues' own sites. We do not control them and accept no responsibility for their content, accuracy or availability. A link is provided for convenience and does not imply endorsement.
7. Liability
Our liability in connection with the website, including reliance on any content described above, is set out in section 9 of our Terms & Conditions. Nothing on this page or elsewhere on the website excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Corrections
We want our listings to be accurate. If you spot something out of date — or you run a venue we feature and would like a detail amended — please tell us at hello@hunterscountryside.co.uk and we will review it promptly.
